Bamboleo Drinks
Located between Malaga and Marbella, the former Byblos Hotel, opened in 1986, was completely renovated and reborn as La Zambra 2022.
Bamboleo is a cocktail bar at La Zambra that has a quirky range of cocktails on offer which have been created to celebrate Byblos’ rich history – A favourite of international jet-setters, celebrities and royalty that seeked privacy and a secluded retreat, the Byblos hotel was a paragon of luxury, elegance, and hospitality in Spain, a hedonistic icon of the 80s and 90s.
While the Bamboleo bar cocktails were exquisite and delicious there was a need to present them through a menu that no only embodied that sentiment but also entailed the idea behind them and what they celebrated.
Rudy de Souza worked on the redesign of Bamboleo bar menu to bring the bar space vibrancy and history to life and present the tailored cocktails in a way that mixed collage work and tabloid style storytelling to the suttle background of shapes and lines inspired by the hotel’s iconic architectural features.
